"Friendship is responsibility, never an opportunity" - Kahlil Gibran
The four of us cramped at the back seat through out the 2 days in Perlis. Happy je tapi kan?
29th Jan 2010. The first place to splurge on was PADANG BESAR of course! Pheww! The hot weather never weakened the shopping feeling inside us. Amazing!Ahaha, a truly women, kan? Later, Cik Puteri the host suggested us to have a visit to CHUPING, the largest sugarcane plantation. From Chuping, we drovehome and ready for the seafood dinner, ho yeah! KUALA PERLIS was the night destination. Mentarang masak halia, sambal udang, telur bungkus, sotong bakar, ikan siakap bakar, sotong goreng tepung and baby kailan ikan masin were the victim that night. Thumbs up! Makan sampai tinggal pinggan je ah :D

Later, Dian suggested to take a visit to TASIK MELATI, reminiscing her childhood memories. But, surprisingly the TASIK MELATI was just like the other recreational later, no other specific activities that you can enjoy except sitting and enjoying the view of the lake. So, we took some photos and planned to left home. But, thanks to a very attentive friend of Cik Puteri, Kak Mas who suggested Lin to take us to KUALA SG. BARU to taste the laksa and great cendol. Obviously we were full at that time and planned to order only a bowl of laksa. Hahaha. xcukup ok 1 mangkuk. We ordered two bowl and request a bowl of only gravy. Angin sepoi-sepoi bahasa kat tepi pantai buat kitorang rasa that laksa was super sedap.
That night, we have our dinner at Mai Cafe, a herbal cafe. First time there for Lin herself, we enjoyed the food so much. I'd caught the article that they pasted at the counter, Mai was a Thailand words for herb and Perlis word for coming, so it reveals the true meaning of Mai Cafe.
1 February 2010. Our last day here. Packing up all our shoppings into BJK's bonnet was a tough time :D Almost 1K's worth item to be packed in one bonnet need really some skills. Lucky Lizasue and Zura managed to do it. However, we at the passenger's seats had to sit in between three blankets. Hahaha. Our planned was not going straight away back to KL but make a detour to Penang first. Ada orang xpenah jejak Penang and nak rasa lalu Penang bridge. So, we dropped by to Jalan Chowrasta and had our Pasembor there. Bought some jeruk and drove home.
The journey was fantastic!
Kolej Komuniti Arau jadi saksi kami berpisah di sini..tapi tidak di hati, kan?
The tears worth for lifetime friendship, Lin, I know it. Gals- Lizasue, Dian, Zura and Ina, obviously the commitment come with huge responsibility behind it, thanks. The trip will never be that happy without you guys. Khai, I am so damn sure that the next trip/plan will be you in it.
And, of course, I am grateful for these friendship, gals. Thank you, ALLAH for letting me know these fantastic people. Alhamdulillah.
